I managed to lose another afternoon conversing with the Biologist. I adore her clarity as I feign understanding about her research, using my studies as an excuse to question her further. The data extraction has gone well—if all goes to plan, phase one should be completed before the end of my rotation unless this slapdash collection of data structures has anything to say about it. And if it doesn't collapse. Again.
Alas, I digress. She's still on my mind. I wonder when her rotation ends, if we could get transferred somewhere together. It would be nice to be around a friend, again. I also think she looks good covered in growth medium. Nice to know it's a consistent thing around evening shift. I'll be by again soon.
